12:22am
Peter, Matt, Jill and Anton raced over to the boat. They jumped aboard as quietly as they could and looked in the windows for any sign of their missing team member. Anton finally found them in the basement, sitting on the couch. Matt, Jill and Peter also gathered at the window to see them, then they all took off with a new touch of haste.

"Connor, I think I saw something at the window," Lindsay said, pushing him away from her slightly.
"I'm sure it was nothing," he replied, and kissed her on the side of the mouth. She shoved him away almost hard enough to knock him on the floor and stood up. She went to the window and looked out, but upon seeing nothing, went back to the couch and sat down.
"What is it?"
"What Peter told me must be effecting me..." Lindsay smiled. "He seems to do that a lot..."
"Lindsay, what are you talking about?" Connor sat closer to her on the couch. He seemed to have a new feeling about him, but Lindsay couldn't pinpoint what it was.
"Nothing. Just... Peter thought you were going to try to rape me or something." Lindsay couldn't help but smile a bit.
"Well, he wasn't far off..." Connor suddenly lunged at Lindsay, knocking her backwards off the couch. She fell on the floor with him on top of her. He pulled a blade from under the couch where he had concealed it earlier, and slashed her on the arm, drawing an alarming amount of blood. She kicked him in the shin and escaped from under him, risking being caught by the ankles. Connor got up and lunged at her again, knocking over a table, missed, and landed sprawled on the floor. Lindsay kicked him in the head as hard as she could, and he went limp, his fingers uncurling from around the handle of the knife.
Lindsay stood there for a second, breathing shallowly and shaking. She heard someone calling her name, but it sounded far away. She went over to the couch and sat, and immediately started weeping. She couldn't believe she had killed Connor. She never would have thought she could do something like that. But here she was.
Peter rushed into the room and immediately stopped when he saw Connor's body lying on the floor, not moving. He stepped carefully over it and went to Lindsay, who was sitting on the couch, now practically in convulsions, with her head in her hands. He put his arms around her, not needing an explanation of what had happened.
Lindsay let herself be consoled, and relished being in the grip of Peter's arms. She eventually stopped shaking, but not crying, and stood up. Peter stood up with her, keeping his arm around her shoulder. Together they walked out onto the deck of the boat.
Anton, Matt and Jill were on the pier, waiting for them. Matt had gone in the room where Lindsay and Peter had been earlier and seen them there, so he called Anton and Jill to wait on the pier with him for the others to come out.
Lindsay and Peter stood on the boat deck, looking out over the water for a while. Lindsay wasn't ready to face the others yet- she was afraid of what they would think of her. She was now a murderer, and that thought made her cry harder. But Peter was there with her, so she knew she would be okay.
Suddenly there was a jolt of the boat and the deck lights went on. Lindsay looked around, terrified, to see what was going on. The motors started. She could see Matt, Jill and Anton on the dock nearby- then it hit her what was happening.
The Doyle Nova started to pick up speed, even though it was tethered to the dock. Matt and Anton nearly fell off the pier floats when the boat pulling against its restraints jarred them. The tethers snapped and the boat pulled away from the dock.
